St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish permits its Campus with its facilities to be used by various Parish and local groups for activities that benefit the spiritual and/or general wellbeing of the community. Use of St. Patrick’s facilities by other not-for-profits organizations (such as Scouts, basketball groups, AA, youth-oriented groups) may be on a gratis basis. Any group outside the Parish, St. Pier Giorgio Frassati Newman Center, or Diocese using a facility to raise funds will need to pay all usage fees. Any abuse of the facility or activity undertaken that is contrary to the Deposit of Catholic Faith will result in immediate termination of usage, a possible lifetime ban, and forfeiture of all paid fees.
Non-Parish activities are prohibited on Sunday prior to 12 noon. No exception can be made (Ex.20:8.)
Any and all usage fees must be paid prior to utilizing the facility.
All St. Patrick’s Parish, St. P.G. Frassati Newman House, and Diocese of Grand Island sponsored events will have priority over any other group.
Direct supervision of all facilities has been granted to the Parish Maintenance Supervisor. The head of all Parish facilities is always the appointed Pastor or Administrating Parish Priest.
All users and their guests agree, by signature of this document, to hold St. Patrick’s Parish (with all her holdings and staff), the St. Frassati Newman House, the Knights of Columbus 1128, and the Diocese of Grand Island harmless from any liability, property damage, personal injury, left behind personal items, lost personal items, or damaged personal items while using the facilities.
Although St. Patrick’s Parish welcomes all to Encounter Jesus (Jn.1:39), she at the same time must live only for the Truth (Jn.14:6). Thus, the following activities cannot be permitted on any Catholic Property (see CCC 2115-2117): Yoga, divination, Satanists, horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, recourse to mediums, magic or sorcery, Spiritism, voodoo, Free Missionary or North Star rituals, wicca rituals, or witchcraft.
We respect the rights of others to believe as they wish, and ask the same for the Church.
In the event of an emergency or dire need, the appointed Pastor or Administrating Parish Priest can permit other Christian Organizations to temporarily use a facility for worship and/or religious services.
